Hi, I'm Zac!

I’ve been an occupational therapist for 10 years! My wife and I created Let’s OT as we wanted children to be able to learn and develop their skills in a fun and meaningful way in the comfort of their own home. Long waitlists for 1:1 therapy meant families didn’t have many options to get the valuable guidance from an OT. I have always had a passion for innovation and creativity and knew there was something we could do to create a new, engaging and accessible resource for all families.

I value creating purposeful activities with the kids I work with because this helps them feel comfortable, regulated and inspired. This is what Let’s OT reflects.

Together with a team of OTs, we used our skills to turn our favourite therapy activities into Home Therapy Kits.

Not only do you receive all materials delivered to your door, one of the most valuable assets of the themed kits are informative videos for parents where we explain beneficial strategies and skills you can use to help your child learn and participate.

There are also step by step videos presented by our OTs for your children to follow as they complete a range of experiments, workbooks and other playful activities.

We hope you enjoy Let’s OT! We have many new and engaging kits in progress, we are excited you are here!

Meet Zac, Occupational Therapists
and creator or Let's OT

What is an Occupational Therapist?

Occupational Therapy its where science, compassion and creativity meet! It is all about helping children improve their skills and participation in daily life in engaging and meaningful ways.

How? As well as developing authentic relationships and understanding their individual needs, OT’s work collaboratively with children and their families to break down skills and activities into smaller, achievable steps, making them easier to learn and develop.

On the outside, therapy activities look fun and playful, and on the inside, there are many layers of growth. Activities are carefully planned to match the child's ability while also creating opportunities for skill development. OT's are constantly analysing the child's skills and their environment and use expertise in health and development to problem solve, collaborate and adapt activities to help kids reach their potential and develop a positive sense of self.

Traditionally, children participate in occupational therapy in 1:1 settings or small groups. At Let’s OT, we have created Home Therapy Kits as another way for children and families to access the valuable insight and guidance from an OT, while participating authentically in their own home and continuing to develop meaningful skills. These kits have been designed for you to be able adapt yourselves, continuing to individualise them for your child’s needs and abilities.
