Younger children interested in drawing and tracing can begin some of these prewriting tasks, however it is encouraged that more playful drawing and scribbling is completed while they are still developing their pencil control and hand stability for tracing and letter formation. This handwriting workbook presents the letters differently than you may commonly see in other workbooks. Rather than following the order of the alphabet, the sequence of this workbook groups letters based on their formation pattern. This reinforces the opportunities for practice as a similar pattern is reviewed each section.
